Nevada Driver's License and Vehicle Registration
If you're moving to Nevada or leaving the state, the DMV needs to know about it. Nevada state law requires drivers to notify DMV of a change of address within 30 days of moving. Nevada residents who are leaving the state permanently also must notify the DMV of the move. New Nevada residents must obtain their driver license within 30 days and register their vehicles within 60 days. The fine for failing to register your vehicle is $250-$500.
