Benefits Update
Join the network; give your company the advantage!
Business Advantage Network (BAN) is the newest program for North Las Vegas Chamber members. Underwritten by Nevada State Bank, this program is designed to create a network of support and information to small businesses. While all businesses have experienced significant challenges this past year, we know that smaller businesses are hit even harder, as they typically operate leaner to begin with. Proactive companies who are seeking information, and building potential client relationships will have the advantage as the economy improves.
BAN is an exclusive program for members, and is free to join. You can sign up by calling or emailing the Chamber with your request to be included. BAN members will receive:
Quarterly e-newsletters highlighting topics and information relevant to operating a small business in this economy. This newsletter will also offer the latest updates in government related information including IRS tax changes, government funded programs, and private sector resources.
Networking Mixers specific to BAN members
Workshops and seminars at a nominal cost that will help our members save money on the costs of doing business, be informed of the changes in the workplace and resources available., how to market and promote more effectively, and how to expand their potential clients through participation in bids and certifications,
Our first workshop held in February explored the programs and information offered by the utility companies to help businesses cut their energy costs, and even get reimbursed for energy conscious updates. If you missed this workshop we are happy to give you the information pon those programs.
Our April 9th workshop, held in the newly named Nevada State Bank Conference Room at the Chamber will help our businesses understand what the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (Stimulus Bill) offers them the following;
What new or expanded programs are available and how to access them
What is being done in the secondary markets to support the marketplace
What is allocated in the pipeline for the future
